IS WRITING FOR ME?

Have you ever wondered how nice it would be to write a short story, a tale, a poem, or a book? Have you ever played with the idea of writing something for a beloved one? Did you talk yourself out of it? Are you interested in discovering if writing is for you?

This series of workshops will be a set of exercises that aim to build your creativity muscle and your confidence. The six classes will be loosely linked, and by the end of the course, you will have one short piece finished. There will be homework, but not too much, just enough to strengthen your writing discipline. The classes will last 50 minutes, and they will follow this structure: warming-up exercises, writing with prompts, and building up towards a main exercise that will produce a longer piece. There will be no compulsory sharing, but you will get feedback on your work if you decide to do so.

The workshops will be run by Eva Cserhati, a Hungarian-British crime writer with 25 years of experience in literary translation, writing and teaching.
