Families across Shropshire and beyond are being urged to mark Thursday 6 August 2026 in their calendar for this year’s Burwarton Show.

Burwarton Show will feature an exciting mix of returning favourites, from impressive livestock, tractor and machinery displays to an enticing Food Village, Shopping Arcade and numerous trade stands; the majority of which are local businesses within a 30 mile radius of the Cleobury North showground.
Prices have been frozen for another year and children aged 11 and under are still admitted for free, says Chairman Martin Clack.
“Our much-loved Shropshire agricultural show promises unbeatable value for a fantastic family day out, we’re encouraging everyone to secure their day tickets now and make the most of our Early Bird prices, available until 30 April. Day tickets are currently priced at £20 for adults, £10 for juniors (12-16yrs), and children aged 11 and under can join us for free.”
He adds: “Over 16,000 visitors enjoyed last year’s Burwarton Show and our 2026 event promises to deliver another action-packed, great-value day out, there is something for everyone.”
Plenty of Entertainment
The OG Performance Horses will headline in the Main Ring this year with their jaw-dropping stunt riding. The Countryside Corner is also being relaunched, offering live demonstrations of traditional countryside pursuits and free activities for children of all ages throughout the day.
This is in addition to the Sunflower Trail across the showground, entertainment such as a Punch and Judy show on our Village Green, and face painting and circus skills in the Children’s Area. New for 2026, there will be classes for children and primary schools to enter in the Horticulture competitions.
The family-friendly entertainment will also include the return of the Inter-Club Challenge, where local teams compete for charity prizes, along with The Burwarton Burn 5k and 10k Trail Run at 6.30 pm. An England Athletics affiliated off-road course suitable for runners of all abilities.
Mr Clack also confirmed that a live band will, once again, bring the day to a close in the Members’ Pavilion.
He said, “Our members get exclusive access to the Members’ Pavilion, grandstand seating and the Members’ Garden all day, as well as live music provided by Hot Rox from 7.30 pm.
“While many rural shows are struggling, we are striving to keep Burwarton thriving for future generations – thanks to the hard work of over 400 volunteers and support from our loyal members, sponsors and visitors. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone once again.”
