The 150th Shropshire County Show is set to take place this Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the DMOS People West Mid Showground.

This milestone event promises a packed day of entertainment, agricultural showcases, and family-friendly activities.
Highlights of the show include thrilling performances by Big Pete and the Monster Trucks, featuring racing, car crushing, and jumping.
The Shire Horse Village offers a nostalgic glimpse at magnificent workhorses.
A major highlight is the parade of floats created by Young Farmer’s Clubs from across Shropshire.
Visitors can also look forward to demonstrations by the Welsh Axemen, the hilariously entertaining duck herding with Meirion Owen’s Quack Pack in the Countryside Arena, and impressive flying displays from Shropshire Falconry.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Shrewsbury’s Male Voice Choir on the Bandstand and various acts on the Shropshire Live Village Stage.
The show will feature a Fun Dog Show, inviting attendees to bring their canine companions for a chance to win prizes.
A special 150th Anniversary Carnival Parade in the main ring will celebrate 150 years of agriculture with young people from across the county.
Agricultural traditions are central to the show, with Livestock and Equestrian Competitions showcasing sheep, horses, and cattle.
The Shopping marquee will host a varied array of products, while the Countryside Arena and Canine Corner will be hubs of activity. The show also has dedicated attractions and activities as part of the “What’s on for kids” offering.
Adding to the excitement, Gladiators winner Amanda Wah will join chef Adam Purnell, the Shropshire Lad, on the Fire Stage to highlight the nutritional value of fresh meat, with Adam demonstrating barbecue cooking.
With a diverse range of attractions from monster trucks and axe racing to livestock competitions and musical performances, the 150th Shropshire County Show offers something for everyone.
