Following the resounding success of previous St David’s Day concerts at the wonderful Theatre Severn we are delighted to announce that this year’s event will take place on Saturday February 23rd.
This is the North Wales Association of Male Voice Choirs sixth celebration concert at the theatre and this year it will be led by two wonderful choirs from North West Wales, Côr Meibion Goronwy and Côr Meibion Caernarfon. Demand for tickets, therefore, is bound to be high so we would advise getting yours early.
One of the objectives of the NWAMC is to promote young talent and this year is no exception, our soloists this evening are Lauren Rosborough a wonderful xylophonist and Morgan Darcy Rees-Deacon a soprano soloist of great promise with a strong local connection.
As with previous years, the concert is not just about showcasing the very best of Welsh musical talent it is also about supporting those less fortunate than ourselves and this year we are proud and delighted to be supporting a wonderful organisation the Shropshire branch of the Marie Curie Charity.
